Join us on Monday, 23 September for an in-person, insider threat tabletop exercise. This exercise is hosted in conjunction with 2024 FinCyber Today UK but registration is separate. This event is sponsored by Immersive Labs.

Due to failures in vetting practices, a malicious insider has slipped under the radar. With privileged IT access misused to enact fraudulent transactions, the scenario will challenge participants to examine incident response plans, third-party relationships, and information sharing in insider threat activities.

What will participation in the exercise look like?

During this four-hour tabletop exercise, participants will engage in a challenging insider threat focused TTX scenario. They will be tasked with discussing the hypothetical ongoing situation using their organization’s existing incident response plans, policies, and procedures. 

This exercise provides participating organizations with an opportunity to:

• Understand best practices in sector information sharing and collaboration in incidents regarding malicious insiders.
• Identify best practices for mitigating the risks posed by malicious insiders.
• Examine best practices and evaluate policies and procedures for law enforcement notification and collaboration.
