Join us for a member only tabletop exercise

Join colleagues from across the Americas region on 27 October for a half-day in-person, strategic tabletop exercise. This exercise is hosted in conjunction with the 2024 Americas Fall Summit, but registration is separate. The exercise is open to member staff working on the AI front, investment liquidity and brand reputation.

It’s not hard to imagine a threat actor using deep fakes and large data trading algorithms to manipulate public opinion on the safety and soundness of the financial sector. Motive(s) could be retaliation for sanctions, a hacktivist campaign, or simply to game for profit. Regardless, the risk is real if public confidence bottoms out, creating runs on financial firms and shorts publicly traded stocks.

There are a lot of moving parts in this challenging scenario – potential for systemic risk, financial risk to your firm and shareholders, brand crisis – your internal teams are going to have to act quickly to prioritize the intelligence you are receiving and with a systemic threat in play, collaborate with other firms to manage and mitigate risk at a micro and macro level.
